i blew the motor in my car that was a 5 speed, the company that i ordered a used motor from sent me a automatic motor. i was told all i had to change was the pilot baring, is this true or do i have to send it back? just want to know if it will work with my 5 speed trans?
also are the automatic internals all the same as the 5 speed motors or am i a retard for asking? lol

The engine is a drop in replacement. There's no such thing as an "automatic motor". If they sent you a motor without a flywheel or with a flexplate on the crankshaft instead of a flywheel, you will need to take that off your old engine and use it on this one, along with all the other clutch parts.

do not forget the crank position sensor housing!!!! You can only remove it from your old engine from inside the bellhousing. I transplanted an automatic engine into my mtx car and it would not start!!! I had to take the engine back out after I had finished everything just because of the stupid sensor housing. on the automatic it is about an inch thicker.
