Can anyone give me some advice on a suspension kit? I've done a 'little' research and I really cannot tell the difference between any. I'm really just looking for some better handling, not really crazy lowering, and a decent price. Any help is appreciated.

PS: I've used the 'search' key and got drowned in info... a little easier to ask the guys who know.

thanks.

FJS-
I am sure you are certainly speaking from how soundly the kit performs, and I wholeheartedly agree it does. But even though people are sick of my "rants" about FT - I find it curious how you could recommend them when we still haven't received replacements for our singing rear shocks and
they are selling (the ugly word would be "unloading") sport kits while there is a redesigned rear shock still "on the way".

I will never recommend the product or FT as they both still are apparently satisfied with my now 6 (!) months of dissatisfaction.

Well, I'm still satisfied with the performance as you are...it's just the damn clicking.
Part of the problem(as I am told most of their shocks make a valve noise) is the way that our shocks are mounted anyways. Most cars have rubber or poly isolators where ours don't, but that's beside the point.
We noticed the problem. Let them know about it and they asked for more detail...so, we detailed. When they had enough proof that there was a problem, they were able to determine the cause of the sound and came back with a solution and even gave us a date which is more that some companies would do.
After talking with Darren, I believe that his concern for our satisfaction is sincere even though he hasn't been able to reproduce the problem himself.
I'm confident that he'll do what he can to satisfy his customers. I intend to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him until November to deliver on his word.
If he fails, then I'd start to worry.
I still like the kit and currently, I'm dealing with another isssue that I've got with my CAI from Injen(having trouble getting it to fit correctly with the Focus Sport stressbar installed) so I don't even notice the suspension click but once in awhile. Last thing I let it do is continue to irritate me. I think I've just gotten used to it, but I still plan on holding HPA to their word.

In case anyone's wondering what we're talking about here's the original discussion: http://www.focaljet.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000878.html

I love my KW sport kit, it rocks. Yes the shocks "click" sometimes, but who cares? Your exhaust and intake noise cover it, and the stereo takes care of the rest. GET THIS KIT! It's totally comfortable for everyday use and performs amazingly.

Here is one setup that I plan on getting soon:

Eibach Pro-Dampers ($350) + Eibach Sportlines ($200) <---You can purchase these two seperately at www.newedgeperformance.com

I currently run just Progress Springs ($150) but I know that my stock shocks are going to give out sooner or later and besides, I want to go lower!!! Therefore, it is good to get a suspension setup that already comes with aftermarket shocks/struts!

Other kits that I recommend:

KW Sport Kit <-- www.focustuning.com
H&R Cup Kit <-- www.focussport.com

I have the KW kit and I love it. No clicking noises ever. Handles and looks awesome.

Check out shox.com, get a quote for whatever you want.

They have the best prices, I think there was a quote for the prokit/prodamper set for like $500...

Found it:

Eibach Pro-System $479.00 (struts and springs)
Eibach Pro-System Plus $679.00 (struts, springs and sway bars)

DAMN good deals!
