Pimp:
I lose sleep on a regular basis (as you can see by looking at the times that I post) to make sure that Wolff products are the absolute best for the money. Deadlines are relentless.
Soul:
E-mail me. We'll talk.
Confused:
I haven't checked or responded to any mail since the second of the month, and my presence on the Jet hasn't been too hot since then either. I'm finally up to speed now so I'm back in full force. I'll respond to all the e-mails and private messages tomorrow. Sorry about the delay everyone, but you won't be disappointed.
Creating functional vents was a target for the body kit. One draw back was that it would involve creating fabricated ducts that would go out with the kits (along the lines of a ZO-6's ram-air and rear vents). The thought is still on the table, I'd honestly say it's not a likelihood, but it's still not ruled out. We've decided not to include the useless "dummy" vents that are seen on most kits, and blanked them as a tasteful alternative.
Stylez:
I likely got your request. I sent forms to 32 people a short time ago and haven't looked at my mail box since. I'll do the current set of about 30 or so tomorrow. I've been tying up ends on some things that were a little more urgent, which specifically pertained entirely to the body kit. One final 'thumbs up', and I'll post the images of the renderings, (one front and one rear) and the final price of the exterior parts and begin taking the 35% deposits to secure kits.
In addition to taking orders, I'll provide all the stats for the kit, namely the dimensions, and what to expect, and not to expect. As usual though, I'm hoping to see you all ask questions, and I'll answer them in the usual fashion.
As the kit is about to make a public debut in the extremely recent future, here's some things that I can confirm about the kit. They are as follows:
*There will be no hood offered.
*The hatch will not offer Lexan as optional equipment directly from Wolff.
*Although fashioned after stock equipment, the Wolff doors will not be built with the intent to make use of stock window mechanisms. The use of these mechanisms submit an 8 lb. Carbon Fiber door to about 20lbs-30lbs of machinery. The additional weight, particularly the glass, cannot be sustained for prolonged use of stock equipment much like the (typical) factory 50lbs-60lbs door. The original door handles and locking mechanisms taken from the stock doors can be used in the stock format on a long term basis without affecting the 8 lb. structure.
There are some other details specifically to the kit itself I'll post with the renderings. Hopefully, the renderings will be available for public viewing a few hours after you read this post, so keep your eyes peeled. Till then, take care. See you all very soon.
Mark.
