Ok this is Focuspimp1981 using Hector's ID cause I was too anxious to log him out and log myself in!!! But Mark you guys are awesome, we can't forget about all the other guys at Wolff Racing who had input and helped R&D this beautifully gorgeous kit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a bit of info about the kit:

* It is 2.25" wider on each side than stock, to accomodate wheels that are 2" wider.

* The black portion on the front and rear of the bumpers are intended for the Carbon Fiber versions. They are to facilitate the owners who intend to paint the Carbon Fiber bodies yet still let it be known that the kit is made of Carbon Fiber and that they are sporting an authentic Wolff Racing product, not a fake.

* The Carbon Fiber body panels are made of double woven Carbon Fiber rather than the single woven type. This increases strength and up close, it is a diamond or 'zig-zag' patterned piece, rather than the 'checkered' type that even fake carbon fiber products mimic.

* The carbon pieces are coated with 5 layers of clear coat, vs. the penny pinching 3. This ensures an extremely glossy surface with years of service life. Wolff's pieces require substantially less maintenence than typical C.F. pieces.

* Being that the intercooler is the largest single piece utilized in the car, so the body kit was designed to facilitate the Front Mount intercooler for our turbo kit, and has the neccessary clearances for the pipe work and such already provided. The kit will be constructed with the use of the actual intercoolers we will be using in our kit for acurate spacing.

* The kit retains all stock safety equipment.

There are some more bits of information that you'll very much appreciate, but I'll have to give that to you all later. Take care.

Mark

Ok I finally logged in on my ID, but I love the details Mark!!!!! WOW So cool, the pics of the stubs err stub I should say, will work!!! But once I have entered more races and shows I will send those to you too! Hey do you want local events too, of just the major ones? cause the local scene is where your gonna get a lot of your promoting done anyways! Well let me know!

Hey my mom told me that one too! The more the merrier! Yeah that was a really long time ago! Hhmmm... Mark I am begining to wonder if my mom does work for Wolff Racing, do you have a Lirda Turner on your payroll? I could have sworn she worked for Florida Heart Group, but I guess she just told me that so that she would not have to deal with me bugging her for Wolff products!LOL hehehe, I wish!!!! Ok then I am going to send you my local stubs too! Or whatever they gave me for racing at the local events, I got video of me racing!!! Well I will email that to you just so you can watch, not really for the sponsor thing! LOL I am hungry I think I am gonna go get something to eat!

well from what it sounds like, but don't quote me on this cause i also am not totally sure, but, it should cost over 1000, but I honestly don't think, just buy the way Mark has been talking, that it will cost more than 2 g's, now I have stretched out on a limb, here, cause I don't think I should have said anything, since I am not a part of Wolff Racing(YET!!!LOL) but they have been working extrememly hard to make this an affordable kit, yet the bestof quality, strength and looks! Wow I sound almost like a Wolff racing rep. LOL But Mark still has not released any prices, not even a generalisation. SO the only thing we can do, is be patient, and he will give us some sort of price, just like he came through and showed us the pics finally!

What are you talking about, it looks absolutely beautiful, I think what is going to end up happening for me is, I will end up only getting the fenders to start with and piece the kit together once I can afford each piece, unfortunately for me!! But I will get this kit, hell if I have to sell my in dash dvd player to get this kit I will! Darn it!

In response to a recent e-mail:

"What are we to do about the windows/latch glass?"

Lexan is recommended as a window substitute in the doors. I was saying that someone can use the stock pieces, particularly in the manual ones, but the weight of the glass will surely put undue stress on the CF door's braces. We've done doors in the past and had Lexan used in place of the stock glass, with all of the original window mechanisms in place, and it worked like a charm. The Lexan was placed over the original glass and was molded with the use of a heat gun and a 'fire glove' so that the Lexan took the contour of the original glass. The edges of the Lexan had to be sanded smooth to reduce friction, but they flew up and down afterward. But a method like this would be for a stock fashion to be in either a full up or full down position. Half mast wouldn't be suggested.

Typically, we've found that no matter how much we did the doors in the past to retain stock pieces, people still bolt Lexan into them and forsake the stock functionality. To each his own, I guess.
