Well within the nexts few days I will be installing my New 2002 Euro bumpers with JMS chin soiler, I wanted to paint my side skirts and door moldings, The shop owner told me paint doesn't like to stick to these moldings.? he told me to get primed ones from ford...

So what should I do

thanks Marco

Go to your Ford dealer with a big bag of money. I'm still considering getting my door moldings painted since the cost of the primes parts + paint put it way out of my price range.

I like my pot of gold and don't want to give it up for paint, maybe for performance

anyone know what it would cost for primed door moldings from ford, and then to get them painted?

i got a silver xz3, and the door moldings look terrible stock.

if I remeber right, door moldings are about 50 a side. paint would be close to that too unless you take them to maako or soemthing. go look up the price quotes on fordpartsonline.com or just go to a shop and get a quote on primeing and painting yours. you don't have to buy new ones.
