Where in God's Green Earth did you find a pair of those removal tools?!? Aside from snap-on or Matco, I can't find any dealer or audio shop that has 'em!

Remove radio, remove 4 radio bezel bolts, disconnect lighter & hazard button, remove nobs, remove 6 screws that hold the stock bezel on, remove 3 screws that hold the controls on the stock bezel.

Do the reverse with the SVT bezel in place.

It isn't just "trim rings". you replace the entire housing.

um you can make a pair with a metal coat hanger!

just cut it and bend to a U shape, installin the radio holes and push towards the side windows, the radio will come right out.

i just did this yesterday (i wanted to paint my radio/ac surround piece) it works. i had heard of some people having problems using coat hangers, but it came right out for me. the only issue i had was that the coat hangers got stuck, but a pair of pliers and a nice hard tug fixed that.

I thought you were to just pop off the 3 nobs then snap off the old masking, then snap the silver masking off the new ....thingie

and snap it on where the old one was?
i think youall might have done it the harder way ehh

feh! you wish it was that easy! the hvac control is a single unit and the entire plate needs to be removed in order to switch them.
