i'm curious, when it comes time to get a new car what will some of you get. i know a lot of people who consider their next car soley on it's track capabilities. will some of you get the next gen focus? list reasons for you next perchase.

Street Mod Omni!! I can feel and hear the BOOST from here.
I, too, am having visions of SVTcomp in my head.....but I'm having a tough time convincing myself my car is not close enough to it to consider starting over.

I can solve that... Why don't you and I just trade cars so that you will be back where you started... That way you can trade in a car that is almost entirely stock! Wouldn't that be okay?

I can solve that... Why don't you and I just trade cars so that you will be back where you started... That way you can trade in a car that is almost entirely stock! Wouldn't that be okay?

well, once the focus is payed off, i will be looking at TWO different cars.
a track car, and a street car.
street: anything i can get for under 10K(98-04 or so)
track: the neon acr i like.
but as i will most likely be rallying at that point in time, i may not bother with the acr; too many cars at once.
i will either continue using my beater rally car, or retire it, and convert my focus.

At the rate my car payments are going it will probably be a flying space mobile al la George Jetson.
If SVT decides to start production on the "competition package" Focus (crossing my fingers), that will be my next car. My ZX3 will most likely be paid off by then, so I will either trade it in or keep it around for a 351 swap so I can have the best of both worlds.

SVT competition package sounds good, if they actually make it.
personally, and i can't believe i'm actually saying this, i'm really looking foward to the civic type-r. if honda brings this to the U.S. at under 22k, then i'm sold.
