I just got my recall for the batt cables and also a "customer Satisfaction" issue pertaining to the rear bearings. They say they will be R2 the bearings at now charge. Now i just paid 125 bux for the bearings and replaced them myself. Can I get a refund. I dont have the reciept anymore, do dealers keep records of sales and i can get a copy from them?

Damn, I'm not sure if you can get reimbursed due to no receipt.

But it won't hurt trying to ask the dealership for records of the sales. So there might be a chance.

I paid $700+ for my battery cable replacement and when I got the recall notice, I called the dealer and they said to bring in my original receipt and they will submit it to Ford.

I dropped off the receipt and got a call from the service manager who said everything looked ok and he was going to send my refund request to Ford. He said there should be no problems as long as what I paid for is the exact same part that is involved in the recall.

Good luck
