I have read quite a few messages lately concerning the traction control on the SVT, and I have even searched the archives, but there seems to be no concrete answers about exactly what it does.
I was hoping someone from SVT could shed some light on this subject and end quite a few debates in various threads.
Exactly what does the traction control do on the SVT? When you disable it with the button, is it completely disabled, or does it still function on a limited basis? I know quite a few people are saying it still works when turned off below 20 mph. Does it hamper acceleration in any way (when turned off)?
And, exactly how close is it to the Cobra's traction control? I know on my friend's parents' '01, you turn the traction control off, and you can really spin the tires. With it on, the car bogs like mad coming out of corners and off the line autocrossing...
Thanks a lot!!!
