Bought my car about 3 months ago, do I need to take it in for a flash or update?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">If you open the passenger side door, its actually not on the door, but on the frame (going towards the engine) near where the door connects to the frame. If its not there, then you might be able to do the gauge test thingy and pull the version out of that (not sure though).Originally posted by Ranger:

I called SVT earlier today, and supposedly the new code is being "polished" as we speak and will be available in the first week of Feb.

I got my ECU flashed two weeks ago - no more surging at 3k rpms or cold start high rpms.... kind-of miss it....
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">I don't see an issue with the ECU. You just tell them that the car runs like crap and they should fix it.Originally posted by belacyrf:
Anyone thing we'll get any crap from the dealer trying to get these in our SVT's?

I also noticed the SVT 5-door at the Detroit auto show (NAIAS) had a higher MPG rating than our 2002s. Unfortunately, I can't remember the exact figures, but I think it was 22 city and 26 or 28 highway. It was definitely better than the 21/25 we are supposed to get. I asked the guy at SVT if it is due to the new ECU code and he didn't know.![]()
