Just wondering what you ended up paying. Below sticker? being a "limited" model, was your dealer flexible on the price?

Also, silly question, it still has rear drums, unless you pick the advance trac right? And the advance trac can't be switched on and off.. correct?

Hi there all...I just picked up my Liquid Grey S2, 5spd, pwr group, premium group, abs, side airbags, abs, moonroof and got it for $15,500 out the door from a Ford dealer that's near Sun City in AZ...they sell mostly Crown Vic's...Very happy so far, I just hope the reliability holds up

Another "Limited special editon only offered on the S2 Liquid Grey S2" Got mine for $15,000 Power, Premium, Moonroof, and the JRSC was on it before it had 200 miles on it.....

I've had my S2 for about two weeks. I had my previous ZX3 for about a year when the oil pump broke. I waited a month for the dealer to fix it before I traded it in for the S2. Liquid grey, 5spd, A/C, power... I have this armrest/storage thing between the seats. It drives me nuts whrn I'm trying to shift. I'm kinda getting used to it, but maybe a short shifter will help

.

How much should the tires be inflated? I noticed that they looked a little underinflated yesterday, but I couldn't find any info in the manual or in the doorjamb. I noticed that they were all set to 32psi. I upped them to 36 to keep the sidewall flex down. Anyone?

Got my Liquid Grey S2 right after the 4th of July. Paid $15,000 total... Power, Premium, Auto trans.. The only thing I couldn't get off the price was that dam Ford advertising fee, which the dealer says is "all Ford" and "we don't have any control over that price." What BS.. I mean, it was a measly $125 fee, but cripes, that's 125 bucks that could have been used for a set of wires, drop-in K&N filter and replacement tubing!

But, I wouldn't have any other Foci than my S2

Bought a Liquid Grey S2 in Birmingham, AL off the lot with Power, Premium, Side Air Bags, and Moon Roof. MSRP $16,185, Invoice $15,206, got it for $210 under Invoice, then got $1,500 rebate and also 0.9% financing; with title and tax came to $13,800 out the door.

I took delivery of my S2 on 8/10. I ordered in early May, and the order actually had been pushed back two weeks from the scheduled delivery. I used my father-in-law's A plan pricing and also received $1,500 rebate, so my final out-the-door price was $12.1K. Not bad. The dealer threw in some incentives, such as three free oil changes. The Credit Union I belong to had special 6% financing, so I took advantage of that. The dealership also removed the ZX3 and Focus emblems from the deck lid. I like the look. I also like the ride, but my only concern is that cheesy air box. I'm going to order the iceman intake as soon as the fourth piece is available, and hook it up to a K&N filter assembly. I'm going to chuck the entire stock airbox into the lake somewhere. Overall, I'm impressed with the performance. It reminds me a little of the BMW 2002 I had a few years ago.

Picked up my liquid gray ZX-3 on friday. Dealer said I was getting it at $200 over invoice, but do you ever really know? Its pretty basic, but thats what I wanted, it just has the premium group to get the A/C, cruz, and tilt wheel. My employer just changed from supplying a co. car to having us buy our own cars and get paid for miles. I'm really looking foreward to lots of travel now...

Mine was/is a purchase at 200 over and I got to keep the 1k factory cash back.

My car turned four weeks old last Thursday. It got it's first 3,000 mile oil change Friday. It's a CD silver/5spd/power/premium/nothing else. I didn't want all that bull**** abs and traction control bs or those useles (and heavy) airbags. I told 'em what I wanted and they tracked it down 30 miles away. I paid 13,200 on x-plan plus got an additional 1,000 rebate so 12,200. I love the ride and quality of the car, but hate the 4x4 ride height the S2 has, oh well all in the name of civic and neon acr ass-kicking fun!

Well, my dealer is trying to track down the one I wan't. Well, there are a few local ones, but the one I like has been owned by a local family since ~1920.

Liquid grey, only option wanted is advance trac (Just for the rear discs). No power, no nothing ... except the A/C that comes w/ it.
Keeping it as light as possible.

S2, the "power" group will probably add much more weight than a rear disc option (advance trac) Especially if you ended up getting a sun-roof also.

Your absolutely right andrew, the power group would add more weight than disks, but I wasn't complianing about the weight of the disks. I was refering to the fact that any driver worth running at the track has absolutely no use for traction control. I have all the traction control I need programmed into the "seat of my pants." Plus I can do the disk conversion myself for less than what it costs to option the advancetrac onto the car. As far as the airbags go, I just find them to be a nusance and if optioning them out takes weight out of the car, it's just an added bonus. And no, I don't have a sunroof either.
