But i know that Aerocharger and some other compagny is making them for the Focus ! so there is Turbo that exist for our car !

I mean, if you could take a Turbo from another car model and add it to our car !?
Like using a Subaru, toyota turbo to make them fit ?

May be Volvo ? Cause volvo is now to ford !? But not sure if that would fit in !? Just please get me informed on this ! please !

You could fit a T88 if you wanted to. It will just take alot of money to have a custom manifold built.
I'd like to see someone take a sequential turbo setup off of a late model RX7 or Supra and install it.
TWIN TURBO FOCUS.....WHAT!?!

I had an IHI RHB5 fit in my Zetec Cougar.

And yeah, unless you buy a pre-made kit, you pretty much have to custom make everything except the turbo.

The RHB5 is a really small turbo. The good thing about that is it boosts quick. At 6 psi I have 150 lb/ft of torque by 2900 rpm.

The downside is that kind of power is addictive. I used to get an average of 30 mpg city/highway combined, now I get around 20 mpg average.

The reason I used an IHI was because it was the first auction on ebay for a turbo I actually won

. I also like that it's water cooled as well as oil cooled.

Whatever you use get ready for a lot of work. But when it works...it's beautiful.

it depends, if you are going for a simple small boost turbo it will cost you less most likely
the turbo will be cheap and you wont need to upgrade alot of your parts to actually run it
the piping and a few other parts to hook it to your car will cost about as much as the turbo

but if you are going for big boost the turbo will probably cost you 1000-2000 dollars, and you may have to upgrade your internals, tranny, along with many other things
that will run you alot of money

however toms kit will get you 300 hp for a pretty good price

Total cost for my setup was around $800. That included turbo, intercooler, and all the fittings.

The reason it was so cheap was because the main parts are junkyard/used parts and my dad did all the labor for free. My dad had no turbo knowledge going into the build up and it took him over 7 weeks to figure out and put everything together.

I got the turbo for $100 shipped on ebay. The intercooler was from a pick-n-pull for $25. The most expensive item was my EGT gauge and probe at $180 new.

The only way you can get a custom turbo setup cheap is if you use used parts and do all the work yourself or you have someone willing to do the work for free like a friend or relative

If you have to pay someone to do the work, I have no idea what it could cost. It might wind up cheaper to go with a Stage II Aerocharger.

Go to www.google.com and do web searches on custom turbo installs. You should find a lot of info that would help.

These links were instrumental in the build up of my system:

This site has a lot of great info and links

Another great site with technical info. They also sell their own stand alone engine managment.
http://sdsefi.com/tech.html

The single most useful link I have yet come across. Could not have made my turbo exhaust manifold without it. Saved me a ton of money.

If you don't understand at least half of what they're saying, you're probably better off buying a pre-made kit.

Good luck and good boosting.
