Automatic Nitrous shot at designated RPM

Hello,
I plan on using no2 in the future and am planning how to trigger the shot. One post said to fire about 3000-3200RPMs and not to use the WOT switch. It there a way (or product) to dial in a certain RPM, say 3200, and when your tach hits that point, it will put out 12volts to an accesory. This being your solenoid. As long as you stay above the RPM, you will have a constant flow.
Just a brain storm. It would be great to know why and why not to do it this way.

yes, you can get a window switch which will only allow current flow between two designated rpm. or you can get the MSD dis-2 whic has programable accesory outputs that come on at certain, user programable, rpm.

I was thinking about this too cuz I've heard that it's not good to spray anywhere under 3K rpms.

oh, don't mean to be a smart ass but the formula for nitrous oxide is n2O.

no2 is deadly gas just like co2.

Crane cams has an nitrous specific on/off system that will also allow you to set an ease in for 1st & 2nd gear to control wheel spin. I use this with my ZEX kit on my zx2 to spool up for the turbo..
