MY best time on a 1/8 track is 10.98 and that was on a freezing cold night but i usally run a 11.04 or a 11.15.. but here latly i been running at a 11.34 or a 11.72 something i dont understand.... i have a arospeed exhaust and a AEM intake and its AUTO Trans.....it just seems like it gets slower everyting i go to the track so i have given up on racing my car and just been watching... please let me know if you have any advice.. thanks Eric

I would believe the 105 mph before the 121-123 you claim. That should be low 11s or high 10s et.

if i don't remember correctly, Tom wasn't running the car at it's top potential...276 whp and a 5,500 rev limit. plus a 30+ headwind. in addition to that, i believe that was his first drag racing experience...

Your right, his 60's arent THAT bad, but the fact is, he blowing up the tires thru the first 3 gears. Lotta hp + no weight will do that for ya...

All I have is an Ice-Man Ram Air Intake, load of graphics and exterior modifications, and Magnaflow Exhuast(not catback, but resignator is removed). Anyways, I think for an almost stock automag I am running very well. Some one told me today that I could be running fast with my trap at 82.21... what do you guys think? Where do you feel I am losin it? Remember, I am automatic.
 
first runs were like 16.3-16.5 @ 84mph.

havent been back since we have had all these mods:
FS cool-flo intake, custom exhaust, stock replacment crower cams, FC cam gears, FC crank pulley, FC race header, FC mass air, FC flexpipe, FC throttle body, FC short shifter, FS spark plug wires, bosch platinum 4 plugs, diablo chip, FC carbo fiber hood, str fuel rail..... soon to be at a track to see what the mods actually did for me
 
my best so far has been a 15.71@ 87mph here are a list of my mods
Iceman CAI, AEM udp, Apexi WS exhaust, custom short shifter, Esslinger cam gears, Focus Central water pump pulley, Focus Central Crank Pulley, Focus Central race header, Focussport spark plug wires,Focussport/H&R lowering springs
I have yet to go to the strip with the race header, i'm hopping for quite an improvment on that time
 
Well guys this is my first post,i got my 02'zx3 back in oct. it has 13k miles now and i just ran it at the track for the heck of it,it ran best of 16.605 at 81.32mph,60'time was a 2.446,1/8th mile time was a 10.638oh yeah and i cant forget my .571 reaction time,lol all i have done to it is the resignator removed for a little better sound,many mods to come,just want to know if thats ballpark or if thats better then most,please let me know...
 
it was about 76degrees,a couple more things too my car is a 5spd.with the whole interior and spare tire too,i just raced it on the 14th and the real race guys said the barometer readings were crappy too,i launched it 5000rpms and stayed in 3rd gear thru 6800 which was kinda dumb but that was my last race and it cut 3tenths off the two previous runs..
