I don't stop for nothin, I'm always trying to set a new record for Windsor-Ottawa. Howse 6h 20min for 770km sound? That's an average speed of 120km/h *including* gas and food stops!

ZX3:If you don't call me, you will never see your Superchip again. I will hold it and the program hostage until I hear your voice telling me how that car ran after the S/C. If you think that I am kidding, I will let you see a picture of your chip to prove that I mean business. I haven't hurt your chip yet, but, time is of the essence. The longer it takes to get a call, the beter the chances that your chip will be harmed. Do not notify the police. If I hear sirens, the chip is a goner!!!

Lets see...you had about 150hp before. Plus 40% (advertised increase) is 210hp! Subtract driveline losses and you are at about 176hp at the front wheels! Wow!

Got you beat, Windsor to Ottawa in 5h 50min!

Cruise control at 190 is sweet! I figured around 125KPH as well with two stops for gas.

Ducman69: I am in Lake Charles, La. I am installing my JR S/C this Saturday. Give me a call, it's a much shorter drive to Lake Charles than to Canada. Besides, those Canadians know absoloutely nothing about BBQ or Gumbo! Give me a call 1-888-544-4626
I have the Superchip with the S/C program also. I will, hopefully, have the DiabloSport Chip with the S/C program by Sat. also. I will test without the chip, with the Superchip, and with the DiabloSport Chip. May the shortest quarter-mile times win!!!

I can't wait for the warranty to wear out. Screw the SVT, I am getting myself a Force Induction ZX3!

Hey Silver ZX3.
I emailed this page to Oscar Jackson to let him know everything went OK. He had the following advice for you.

"Remind him that the stock Focus cooling system
runs very hot to keep all the sensors at peak operating condition. This
helps the cold start up emissions. But, it gets the motor hot very quickly
when running on the dyno. So tell him to be conservative with how quickly
he makes back to back runs so as not to over work the cooling system.

Also, his biggest problem getting the Focus to make more power is to get
rid of the pea shooter throttle body and the close coupled catalyst. All
the chip tuning in the world isn't going to help if you can't get the air
in or out."

You have the CAT part already covered I know.

Hey Cajun...thanks for the offer! But I think I'm too lazy to drive out of Texas even, as it takes about 7 hours from Austin.

Although, I think you are only about 3-3.5 hours away from Houston!

So it sounds like there is an arms race going on! Luckily everyone ends up a winner...except us unmodified slow-mos.

Do you reuse the stock throttle body with the JRSC?? I thought it came with a different unit all together.

wow thats one kick %$#%@ JRSPR.... now i got a question for ya where in massachusetts could i find a good mechanic to install that for me cause i looked around my town all of them are scared to touch the engine!! what the GRRRRRR... so as soon as i find someone to install it im getting one put on.

Throttle body will be replaced, gotcha!

No throttle body is part of the kit. You get plenty in the kit, and a replacement should not cost that much.

I'll post again tomorrow with the scaned dyno charts!
