AEM or INGEN COLD AIR?????????

let me hear it guys i like the looks and style of the ingen but i heard aem works better let me know what you guys think peace.

All i can do is agree with you, mine aint a cold air but my AEM shorty sure pulls like a motha when its cool outside

the Injen does pick up underhood heat until you start moving. Plus, since it is aluminum, it can disipate(sp?) heat faster. Also, the air is moving so fast through the tube that it's not picking up much of that heat anyway.

Basically, it's up to you...the Injen looks a lot better, but they give about the same power increases and decreases.

thats exectly like the aem cai. Also made of aluminum. I deffinitly do prefer the aem cai. It really does pull good.

Wedge, by the same token you could say that a high flow exhaust is useless without an intake because unless you can get more air in the front, there's no need to be able to get more out the back.

Or you could say that a cat back is useless without doing a header first, and vice versa.

The reality is that all of these parts will help out the engine by themselves. They work best WITH each other, but it's not fair to say that an intake is "useless" without an exhaust.

FastRED, I can get you an AEM intake if you decide to go that route. Let me know.
