Got the car together finally...with what I can afford right now...much more to come..speed is so addictive. It ran a 11.79 on my g-tech spinning tires...hopefully with traction it will go faster. ...what do ya guys think of my money pit?

even if he comes up with 11.3 timeslips...i dont believe it. Its just too hard to believe....how come no one has heard about it. Timeslips can come from anywhere, i have 1 and it say 12.22 and i can easily say its mine. But 11sec? NO FREAKING WAY>.no way...not a focus

nazthug, I think the things you read over in his sig was a port & polished head, JRSC with high boost & intercooled, and the 125 shot of NOS... of course it was with a gtech, but those numbers should be pretty close.... doesn't sound bad to me... a 125 shot of nitrous on top of a JRSC would take you up there pretty far....

well...the times are on a g-tech...but I have owned other fast cars including a 440 powered 70 duster and a 408 stroker motor powered dodge dakota and they both ran 12/11 sec range...this focus feels just as fast...I'm gonna try to get out to the track sometime, but I really dont think the bottom end can handel to many more high n2o shots. My shop doesnt specialize in custom forged cranks, so I dont have on in the car yet but I do have forged rods and dome top pistons, They arent as high strength as I'd like since I plan on more boost and more n2o, but theyll do for now...any one know of a good place that make rods..pistons ect for the 2.0l....If I do go to the track hopefully I'll only get one run it cause it will turn 11's and I'll get kicked out for not having a cage...take it easy guys..

why don't you hit up capitol raceway? it's right down the road from you, and it's 10 bucks on a friday night from 4:30 til 10:30. usually can get in a good 7-8 runs.

How late in the season is capitol open?...... I havent been there in a long time... I work a night job monday, wendsday, and friday to pay for the kids school, but it ends in october....I'll try and make it out there some time....oh and If ya guys havent guessed I'm an old fart...lol

Naz--Those numbers are definitely possible with the setup he's runnin....especially on a G-Tech. My guess is mid to low 12's on the track. But just wait until he reinforces that bottom end...whoa

Hocus--Congrats on your buildup man! Sounds like an awesome ride! Where exactly are you located so I may know where to look for it?!
