small hole in the iceman

Anybody notice that there is a small hole on the bottom of the intake duct, its a manufactured hole, bout a pin tip size. Anyone know why this is?

i would assume that it is to let water drain out in the event that some got in there some how. just a though.

where do you come up with all these off the wall questions?? haha!

LOL, well when I was under the car installing my side marker mod, I noticed the hole and that it was deliberate. Water drain makes sense

You can fix the hole by filling it with some JB weld or even bondo. Repaint and good as new.

Yah, I noticed it, and was wondering if it was functional, just that I remembered it the other day when I was under the car, messing with my lights.

I know an easy way to find out!!! Pour a pitcher of water in the tube and see if it drains....

I was told that those holes in the Iceman are designed to let water that makes it into the intake out. I never noticed a problem with having those holes in, so I have no intention of trying to plug them. Just my .02.
