they are at www.levelten.com i email them yesterday and got one back today telling me that they have torque converters that make your car faster than a stick and hydro systems(shift kits) that make your car shift faster than a stick sounds great

torque converter=about $500
hydro-system=about $700

the torque converter isn't to bad of a price and i might get one later. the hydro-system it ouch but i am sure its worth it. would probaly really help out turbo foci with an automatic. anyways though i would let you all know the parts are out their good luck on the tuning

yeah, i've been in contact with these guys for quite some time now. the parts aren't really where you'll see the money going... it's the install that's gonna cost you out the ass!! i'll eventualy get these down the line, but for now, i have better things to spend my money on.

It's definatly a good idea to do the hydro system it will keep you from blowing your tranny down the line. I say if you are gonna do it do it all the way don't get cheap. Trust me this will pay for itself down the line.

but would it be better to get this now or after you have gotten all you parts? from what i read they need the stall speed and all of those things to set it right for the car? is that how it is

imight have to give them a call...what exactly would these help improve besdie performance Ie: better holding capitcy say i cold run a 75 shot as often as i could the 50 shot or beable to run 250hp ? i neeed something with better holding capitcy i might goahead and buy one othem soon and then save for the install later on ? would both of these benefit if used together?

yes if you combine them you would get benefits from both. i am not sure about holding capacity. I will check with them today and let you all know soon. talk to you all later

I know I'm getting the upgrades in June for the tranny; has anybody done this yet?
I'm dropping my car off at levelten, they will need 3-4 business days to finish the job. I will be in New York enjoying my vacation until they are done. Can't wait, woohoo!

ok guys i am getting the torque converter after i get my udp they told me the torque converter has a breakin period of 2 thousand miles. I need to know how tough it is to take out your torque converter can i do it with my car on ramps without moveing the engine. i don't want to pay someone to take out my torque converter send it to levelten then pay for the installation of it. if i could do this at home i would be much happier and another question whats the drive ratio on the automatic. anyone sell ring &pionins for the automatic yet thanks

What dows a torque converter do?
Other than that, I look forward to hearing all about the upgrade. Keep us posted!

its the equivlent of the clutch in a manual. because its a automatic it must have a certain amount of slippage so your car can stand still while still in drive. getting a aftermarket one lets you have less slipage internaly putting more horsepower to the ground

oh that rocks....you plan on sharing installation info once you get it on??? That sounds like a future plan for my auto....

Indeed, that most certainly rocks.
Thanks for the explanation aftershock!
