I've had this happen a few times and can't seem to figure it out. Braking fairly hard stalls my car and the ECU light comes on. Once it didn't start right away and i had to try three times till it did. My fuel tank always has more than a quarter tank. My intake is always tight and no leaks are noticible on intake and exhaust (only two mods)

The dealer hooked it up to the computer but no codes were saved. Is my ECU broken? Is it bad fuel? (Esso) Please help!

my car did the same thing pulling into a car wash I did not notice at first I think what happens is that as you apply the brakes suddenly when moving slow it sucks vacuum from the engine depriving it of much needed air to keep it running I thank its a flaw due to the odd design of the throttle body

Hey evil my car is stick if it helps. It happened again today. It sure is pissing me off. Do you think i should get a better breather hose from the rocker cover to my intake. The hose i got with my intake looks pretty restrictive. Maybe the blow off is not being recycled properly.

I need help. ANYONE???

Try bleeding the clutch slave cylinder. If you have air in the hydraulic line, the clutch may not be dis-engaging. Which brings the questions:
Does it do this when braking in neutral without the clutch pedal pushed?
At what point during braking are you beginning to disengage the clutch?
Are you sitting too far back in the seat to push the clutch in all the way? This is easy to check by moving the seat up a notch or two.
If all of this is right, then go to the mods and check the spark plug wires. I've found that it's hard to tell when the boots are pushed all the way on.
Try resetting the PCM, your fuel pressure may be dropping off too much.
I'm sure there's more, but that's the most I've done on my own.

It sounds like a bad sensor.
It could be your oxygen sensor or your egr sensor.
The most of the times the computer it can't say the fault untill the sensor is completly damaged.
See also your hoses in the vacuum system.
May sure you don't have any leaks.
Try also another dealer for service to check it out for you.Good luck.
