I can't find success at EITHER OF THEM. This one refuses to accept my VIN and fordpartsonline only comes up with a handful of items. None of which I'm looking for!

So back to the dealer I go. I'll try to learn how to use these 2 sites, but in the meantime, my Focus is laying all over my garage in pieces.

Nope, but I am putting the SVT brakes on my ZX5. Many of the part numbers were in the SVT thread, some were not. Others in the thread are incorrect. Overall, this part number thread was very helpful (in the SVT forum). My local dealer was unable to find ANY part numbers on his own - but he claims that is because he isn't a dealer for SVT vehicles. Could that be true? Well, once I got the part numbers off the thread, he was able to obtain most of what I needed. The front rotors and rear brake assemblies are on back order at this time, however.

Most of the pieces I'm looking for now are the "stock" Focus parts that I want to replace. For example, the grease covers are almost impossible to remove without damaging them. In the good old days I could just pop them off with a screwdriver. And the bearing retaining nut was a cotter key and a wrench. Not at all the current caged aglomeration of tiny little threaded spacers! The splash guards may not be necessary, but it does rain here and they may help a smidge.

So that is what I'm up to.
