Sorry guys and gals, had to jump ship! After a year of having the SVTF, I had to bail. I did love driving the car, but with the SVTF issues, I've had enough...

Both are '02's, but mine had 24 miles on it being a left-over. Sorry but I could pass up a VR6 24V for $18,000 with no miles on it! Bro's is an '02 1.8T

As for all the shtuff I had on my SVTF, PM me for details because I'm getting rid of it all. Here's the link for my Image station pics... Everything on there has just under 1800 miles on it, except for the dog bone, with about 5000.

Don't worry though, I'll still drop and line every now and then, but for now, it's lurking time again

Nice cars, and quick, but you're out of the frying pan and into the fire with a VW. I think the reliability record of those is about as bad as the Focus. Good luck though. The interiors look like MBs.

Nice move, VW's are the biggest junk out there, i worked at a dealer. they make the focus look like gold. Plus vws are so gay your first mod should be a rainbow sticker on the back.

Hey! 02sliversvt170...The trailer park called...They want their trash back...better get home!

Anyway! OutaFocus, as far as I've seen/read, the only real problems that they have are:
1. Window regulators (I can deal as long it's not raining

2. Coil packs...guess that could throw a wrench into things... But pales in comparision to my SVTF...
3. Moaning owners just like every other vehicle that has a forum about them

BUT THERE IS A LOT OF ****-EROTICISM THAT COMES FROM GERMAN CULTURE. JUST LOOK TO THE FILM INDUSTRY, ALWAYS A GERMAN PLAYING THE ROLE OF A GAY GUY. IN MOST CASES. i guess i am lucky with my svtf i have not had any thing major with my car. just the little things that come from a first run car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its one thing that peolple dont think about. yes the focus has been around but the svtf has not. there is not a car out there under 25 grand thats a first run that does not have some problems...


but congrats on your new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by the way did you trade it in or sell it out right.
if you traded it what $ did they give you for it?

It's hard to imagine disliking a new car so much that I would take the $$ of selling/trading for a different new car. For the probably $5000 loss you took you could have done a lot...

im whtie trash sure. what ever u say i have svt focus a mustang GT and sho tauras. your so cool buying a [censored] car. gotta love when the windows fall down cause ever jetta or golf the window reg. break, trannys, air bag lights, can't cut the rotors. wiring is pure hell. the motor is such a roach has that fly by wire junk if u have the vr6. could list a thousand reason why the focus had less problems. but your a butt pirate why post on here with that junk. probably beat u in a split port focus auto. bitch

What's wrong with you? Why can't you spell or use proper punctuation? And how am I a 'bitch?' You've got issues Stan...think you need some counseling...

Anyway, back to me, I sold it out-right, bought it D-plan so I didn't lose a whole lot actually. But thanks again for all the good wishes.... A.M.F.

Ouch, harsh. That 2yr/24k warranty makes me wary, tho. Still, a nice car.
