Kick Butt! I'm curious what gains those give.

Hopefully they do better than the zero gains from the much-touted ASP pulley I put on my truck...Biggest waste of $83 (plus $25 for a new belt)...
Heh...Ill probably buy these anyway, though...Hopefully they will work better...

very cool, but whats up w/ not making a cold air intake yet? that has to be an easier thing to make than a new pulley
The intake tract is setup differently on the PZEV than it is on the 2.0 engines...Its more complex...Im sure CARB exemption is gonna be a bit of a pain to get for a cold air kit, also...

How can you get much cooler air to this engine? The intake is below the engine, in front of the condensor/radiator, facing front?

Cool, yes...Efficient, no...A new intake utilizing a high-flow filter drawing in air from a cool source would be much better than the factory intake system drawing air from the front bumper...The factory system is highly restrictive...

Here are the gains off Focus Central's web site.

6 to 7whp plus 4ftlb torque and improve throttle response

one thing I've noticed is that FC always advertises HP gains next to their products, while other sites do not.

Have people who've used these product found these numbers to be correct or are they beefed up for the sake of advertising?

Focus Central has their own dyno which facilitates gathering such information. There are many companies that do not have this luxury. Also, dyno testing is done as part of the part's development process.

Many customers ask what the gains are for a given part, first. So it is good to be able to do that to help the customer make their purchasing decisions.

There are many parts manufacturers that are not yet aware of the 2.3L Duratec and have not yet started parts development. Yet, there are customers with those cars already looking for parts. It is frustrating, but I am sure that the more progressive manufacturers will respond to the market place.

I hope this helps.
