talked to charrisa this morning. if you are going to pay with a credit card, please call her. you will save a lot of time on checkin if you prepay. blue and white groups are filled with the forty car maximum. thirty one are in green, with a lot of the foci. i will probably move from white to green to be there. rich where are you running. would like to do some laps through oaktree and the big downhills behind you. and no ridealongs are allowed. btw, forty car fields are nothing on a track that big. plenty of room to have fun.

Is there any reason that we need to call right away?

I still plan on using a cred/debit card but was going to wait until it got a little closer (about 3 weeks). (I cut up my credit cards and like to hold on to my money as long as possible).

I just got my packet and I am in Green. Since there are no ride alongs, it would be best for all Foci to be in one group so that we can do lead-follow. Hopefully if you can show that you are an instructor with other organizations they will allow and exemption. Anyone good at schmoozing?

well oh yeah. i grew up outside nyc and despised the yanks. it was a matter of survival to shmooz. i will switch to green. lots of room. and rich, i will value your help in going down the back, from oaktree on. it is incredible that they only allow 40 cars in each group. that makes for tons of room there. only better deal i have seen is at the nelson ledges fun days. 100 dollars for five on track sessions @ 20 minutes apiece.

Wasn't going to say anything, but would like to see everyone in same group (green).

Think it would be more fun, and more learning to compare lines, etc. Didn't thnk there would be passengers, unless they were instructors...liabiliy thing. That said, how many have FRS radios? Could be a distraction, could be a help. Whatdaya think?

i know dan. i will call and bump down. but you know guys its not easy being green. could not resist, sorry. i thought all along that green would be the best place. once ran novice group at pocono (lets hear it dan) because only eight cars were registered in that class. probably will be the best run group that weekend. considerate, non-egoed drivers. and we can watch out for each other. plus lie through our teeth at end of day with willing participants of the foci type. i will be setting up the hospitality tents.
