And was it an upgrade or a downgrade? Before my sedan I had the ZX3, but before that I had a 91 Prelude. I loved that little car, and wish I could find another one, but overall I would say that it was a BIG upgrade

in this order...

before the focus I had:

'91 Civic Si Hatchback (rear ended at a light and totaled)
'79 Trans Am 6.6Liter 79k original miles, nice car
'87 LeBaron convertible turbo (biggest hunk of garbage)

I like change...as soon as I can, I want to get something new as after 3 years and all the mods, I'm kind of tired of it and want something new

1989 Geo Spectrum with a 143.5 db DbDrag system
1987 E30 BMW 325i M-coupe in step under a M3 I loved this car. Someone offered me too much money and I had to sell it. Was a Pioneer demo car for AAFES.

my last car was a 1987 Nissan pickup with the V6. I have to admit, it was a good truck. nice chrome wheels (F*** you discount tire for ruining them.

) solid body and paint. Auto tranny was rebuilt at 250K miles, rebuilt tranny exploded at 280K. Engine still ran hard but there was some weird fluttering that would go away if you dropped in a can of B16.

prally a clogged carb. Anyway, the tranny popped again on my way home from work. it kept slipping but it let me coast into the driveway. I tried to get it into the garage but the door didnt open fast enough. When I gave it gas again, it wouldnt catch. Just glorious white smoke pouring out from under the car.

Had it towed off and I walked 5 miles to the Ford dealer where I bought my Focus. Lateral move I'd say. Its not nearly as powerfull as my truck but its newer and more fun.

93 Ford Ranger splash.... 4.0 liter V6 and a 5 speed it was pretty fast truck for back then. Had a cat back exhaust, high flow intake, and a "system" it had two 8" subs, all the factory speakers repalced with pioneer 3 way and about 6 different decks

when it got paid off I got a

95 miata....... fun car when in lived in North Carolina. Sucked in Northern IN in Jan. It had a Hard dog roll bar. Complete Flyn'miata exhuast ( header, high flow cat, and cat back)and sway bars. In the straights I would get killed but find a few turns it would rock

First car 95 Geo Tracker Vert. 4x4 5sp - people say they suck in mud but they really don't, I had it in at least 6inches of mud w/ the top down and it was completely stock...
2nd car 91 Chevy Lumina "euro" auto - pOS.. not sure what was euro about it..?
3rd - 96 Rnager XLT, 3.0L, 5spd, xtended cab, stepside, JET Black... Beautiful truck, miss it, but the foci is definitely an upgrade.. (I don't think the truck would have been able to take much more of the abuse...)

I had the following:

1986 Escort GT with almost 140K on before I sold it when I went into the army

Various Military Vechicles during my time in the Army

I got a 1998 Mustang GT when I got out of the army that reminded me alot of the Escort GT, which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing. It was alot more reliable then the SVT Focus, but it was unconfertable as hell to drive more then 45 minutes for me.

I'm getting another Mustang come 2007 or so
