my last car was a 1987 Nissan pickup with the V6. I have to admit, it was a good truck. nice chrome wheels (F*** you discount tire for ruining them.

) solid body and paint. Auto tranny was rebuilt at 250K miles, rebuilt tranny exploded at 280K. Engine still ran hard but there was some weird fluttering that would go away if you dropped in a can of B16.

prally a clogged carb. Anyway, the tranny popped again on my way home from work. it kept slipping but it let me coast into the driveway. I tried to get it into the garage but the door didnt open fast enough. When I gave it gas again, it wouldnt catch. Just glorious white smoke pouring out from under the car.

Had it towed off and I walked 5 miles to the Ford dealer where I bought my Focus. Lateral move I'd say. Its not nearly as powerfull as my truck but its newer and more fun.

Well I have a short list..
88 Ford Ranger
88 Bronco II --Few Mods
90 Bronco EB--Fixed up
87 Mustang Gt Convertable -- Fixed up

ALL of that was in High school, and when I got out of high school Bought my focus, Now I have a 92 Ranger and my focus!! Gotta love the autos!!

well i went from a 88 4x4 ranger, to a 95 escort lx, to a 00 zx3. very happy with latest decision

93 Ford Ranger splash.... 4.0 liter V6 and a 5 speed it was pretty fast truck for back then. Had a cat back exhaust, high flow intake, and a "system" it had two 8" subs, all the factory speakers repalced with pioneer 3 way and about 6 different decks

when it got paid off I got a

95 miata....... fun car when in lived in North Carolina. Sucked in Northern IN in Jan. It had a Hard dog roll bar. Complete Flyn'miata exhuast ( header, high flow cat, and cat back)and sway bars. In the straights I would get killed but find a few turns it would rock

1975 Buick Skylark (V8 power!!

)
Mazda 323
1990 VW Golf (P.O.S.

First car 95 Geo Tracker Vert. 4x4 5sp - people say they suck in mud but they really don't, I had it in at least 6inches of mud w/ the top down and it was completely stock...
2nd car 91 Chevy Lumina "euro" auto - pOS.. not sure what was euro about it..?
3rd - 96 Rnager XLT, 3.0L, 5spd, xtended cab, stepside, JET Black... Beautiful truck, miss it, but the foci is definitely an upgrade.. (I don't think the truck would have been able to take much more of the abuse...)

I had the following:

1986 Escort GT with almost 140K on before I sold it when I went into the army

Various Military Vechicles during my time in the Army

I got a 1998 Mustang GT when I got out of the army that reminded me alot of the Escort GT, which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing. It was alot more reliable then the SVT Focus, but it was unconfertable as hell to drive more then 45 minutes for me.

I'm getting another Mustang come 2007 or so

I downgraded. I had a Sport Trac. Now my Focus isn't worth anything so it's not worth getting rid of until it's 100% paid off which is in a year. I'm most likely keeping it as a beater and buying an 05 Stang.

Had a 1966 Mustang back in HS, and then sold that while in college (didn't want it to sit out in the far remote parking lot the entire time). Had a Dynasty handed down to me as a commuter car. Then the Focus augmented the Dodge.

honda cb 250
honda cm 400t
79 ford fiesta
80 ford fiesta
92 bmw k75s
94 jeep wrangler
92 taurus sho
86 buick skylark
98 nissan sentra
99 nissan sentra
00 focus lx.
Both nissans were leases.
The fiestas were by and large the funnest cars to have, esp. in Colorado, but that sho, oh my god!!!!

Won't make a list of all of them(bought my first one in 1961, 1958 Ford 2dr with 6 cyl).

Last one before the Focus - 1997 F-150 Ext Cab

I had a '99 f150, I couldn't put up with 14mpg anymore. I was spending $300 or more a month just on gas.

I had an 89 ford ranger with the 4 cyl and a 95 honda civic CAI. Hacksaws are great. It had 250,000 miles + when I traded it in for my yellow gundam. The only thing I miss is having room to haul stuff. But now I have room for stereo equipment.
