I really don't like using the pod if I don't have to, and I would like to mount them some other way w/o using fiberglass or any type of molding, I've seen this done before w/o using the frog pod and all.....but anyways any suggestions would be nice.
can I mount my gauges for my volt/air,fuel w/o using a pod??

you can cut a whole in your dash somewhere and pop it in... you can buy a custom made gauge surround bezel with a gauge holder in the coin tray. You can buy a custom made radio bezel with a gauge holder in the ash tray's spot. You can buy a custom plastic plate that mounts in any of your A/C vent's wholes and can hold two gauges ( i believe)

where can I buy a custom plate that'll mount in my ac vents?.....and also, I could've swore I've seen some cars w/a way to mount gauges on the side(where the pod is located) but w/2 metal rings or some sort.......

These are simply pods that mount on a roll cage (Note the white pipe behind the gauge).here's the one that was originally in question... the pillar gauges without pods

and Im pretty sure that autometer makes some like these...
I am still looking for the vent pod... i know it's here somewhere.
