When you go to the track which I am doing tomorrow do you need a helmet?

Well it will probably only be around a 16.

Around Wisconsin it really matters what track you go to.
Usually if you're running 14's or under, they'll require a long sleeve shirt, pants, and a helment. If you're running slower then that then it's just a long sleeve shirt and pants.

I could of swore though, at Rock Falls (by the Wisconsin/Minnosota border) we had to wear a helment no matter what. Maybe it just matters on what track you go on.

Depends on if they follow IHRA or NHRA standards. Ours is 13.99 or faster.

13.99 or lower equals helmet
12.99= bar for convertibles
11.99= bar for hardtops
10.99= cage

bar or cage could be mandated dependin on track officials judgement, usually referencin trap speed, 135 is the normal mark

Riiiiiiiight. Only thing I could do that in the the 440 Roadrunner my friend and I just finished. Put it this way, it went 7.2 in the 1/8 shutting down just past the half track... Thats without the 250 shot we'll be using.
