Anybody running them (in G stock)? I'd like more tire than I've got right now with the 205/40/17s, and these look like the only way to go wider without going much taller ... thanks/

That's the size for the Speed Series

Touring Car (TC): The tires used are the Toyo Proxes RA-1 race compound DOT-approved tire. The size used is the same for all TC cars, it is the 235/40/17.

Two Focus are registered this year, Klye was last year. So there are three out there that have run these. Mind you Kyle sets at neg 6 degrees camber, which moves the tire top inboard. Not a practical setting for the street. But for the track

Edit: Sorry reread your Q, I'm pretty sure you'd need 8" wheels for these. So I can't see it for a stock class.

I'm running 225/45-17 in G stock and I do get some of rubbing. It rubs on the fender, and it rubs on the A frame on the passenger side. You'd have to check tire/strut clearance with a tire wider than 225.

We plan on testing in the next 2-3 weeks and if the car is up to speed we will be at Lime Rock then Mid-ohio, Mosport, Road America and Road Alanta. I would like to go out west but we have limited sponsership right now and need to focus on the races that are the most beneficial for them. I hope to meet some of you guys at the races.

Also Memo Gidley has a ZX3 he'll be running this year for the Air Force Reserve and then Andrew Gillis will be running his Duratec powered sedan. I know Gillis will be at Lime Rock but not sure about Memo.

Awesome to see so many Focuses out there to cheer for!!!
