What spark plug gap are you guys using with this coil pack and live wires? I searched and couldn't find info anywhere.

.65 I was using on mine. My terminal #3 fried, and fried my wires and all my plugs fowled out. I'm sure it wasn't releated to the coil pack though. It was something else. Just not sure what.

I got it hooked up. Those wires are a pain to clip on to that coil pack, I upped the gap to .065. I can notice a pretty decent difference in the way it runs. Now, I just need to find some good plugs.

good plugs? lol, go to napa and get some autolite double plats. please for the sake of god do not run NGK or denso's in ur focus! Your car will feel slower and run like [censored], they are too short. I put the denso's in and i thought my car ran better, no... put the double plats back in and omg, the car just took off! Also, there is a huge thread about spark plug gap on here somewhere search for it. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT open them up to .065 they are complete morons for telling you its ok to do that.
.054 is all you need to open them up to, anything bigger and the car will run [censored]. There is a big post somewhere explaining spark plug gap, and it says with a bigger coil pack you open the plugs up like .003-.005 more, with FI you close them down to around .040 so realistically with the MSD and FI u will run them at .044 or so. W/o msd and FI u run at around .040, and with just the msd/SD Coil on an N/A application .054 is all you need.

I've had my Screamin' Demon/LiveWires combo installed for almost a year now, with plugs gapped to .065", and I don't know what you're talking about

Why bother getting a hotter spark if you're not going to utilize it?

So many different thoughts its always so hard to know what to do. I'm currently running the gap at .065 and it runs way better than before.

I think you just answered your own question, then - if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

The whole idea of opening up the gap is to place the spark kernel farther into the AF charge for a more complete combustion, this doesn't work for every application so you'll just have to experiment. As far a denso plugs go, as long as you get the correct ones they're great. I'm running a set of denso iridiums one step colder than stock and they're awsome plugs.

I think you can use any ZX2 wires with the Screamin Demon.

I've been running the Firepower kit with the plugs at the recommended .065 gap for nearly 2 years without a single issue.
