I don't know what Toyota is thinking about running this tv commercial because it shows a woman driving a Toyota Highlander while putting on her makeup looking in the mirror going over bumps and potholes without her hand shaking then pulls up to another woman getting out of an SUV with smeared lipstick on her face.

I see this all the time women putting on makeup while driving and it is very dangerous to do.I won't get into cell phones and driving.

For those that have seen this tv commercial what are your thoughts on it?

It pisses me off that nobody in a position to do so teaches
safety and courtesy while driving.

I haven't seen this spot, but the premise just sucks. Yeah they're trying to show how good the ride quality is but it's the wrong way to do it.

Years ago, the first ensemble of Saturday Night Live did a spoof on a ride quality commercial involving, of all things, a circumcision! That was funny, kind of... (ouch!)

Anyway- I have done a lot of high speed Open Track driving,
tube-chassis driving schools, motorcyle riding on and off highway and lately, a lot of Gran Turismo 3 in fantasy Formula One cars and all I can say is that when I'm drivin' on public roads these days, I try to be as courteous as possible while driving the flow of traffic, always aware of the situation around me and ALWAYS aware that even if I try
to hurry, I won't get there any sooner.

I just want to get where I'm going in one piece and without scratching my sweet Focus.

EDIT: Btw... three 1:15.---'s in a row at Monaco in the F090s, best lap is a little quicker 1:13.--- but only one.
I know that there are ppl who are faster, way faster- but that's haulin' ass and it's a major rush.
