I just ordered an indiglo gauge overlay for the focus speedo cluster, which wire do i tap into for power (and so it will dim too) the ground is no problem just not sure which one for power,

what i did was tap in to the back of the light switch and the dim works fine... i have my autometer gauges there right now.. i'll post pictures later if you would like to see
ok i installed the white face overlays. the wiring still has me somewhat confused, i grounded the black wire (easy) and then whent to one leg of one of the fuses headlight i believe. but the indiglos are illuminated with the ingnition on.
how do i make it so they come on when i turn on the headlights? and can they be dimmed with the cars dimmer switch?

the reason they come on with the ignition is because you wired them to a FUSE... a fuse has constant power when the car is on. you need to take off the headlight switch, and in the back of the headlight switch, there are two orange wires with blue stripes. One of them is the power for the dimmer. Tap into one of the two wires at a time and see which one allows for the dimmer on the gauges. However, both of those orange wires will work for the gauges power. Tapping into one of those wires will allow the gauges only to be on when the headlight switch is turned on.
