Does anyone ask for car parts for Xmas?

I don't want anything other than car parts or money so I can buy car parts. Does anyone else ask for that?

Haha, nah that [censored]'s too expensive to ask for any for Christmas. I'm asking for gift cards from Sears this year

Yes...same here...already got a early x-mas gift from parents...some carbon fiber M3 mirrors with turn signals in them. and when everyone asks me what i want i just simply reply money to put into my car...or if they know whatim talking about i tell them the parts im looking for.

Thats such a good idea. I want some kickass tool chests... but never wanna spend for em myself.

I told my family what I'm looking for and where they could find it. I don't expect them to buy my turbo or clutch for me but if they want to get me something, a small donation to the cause would be a VERY good gift.

i was afraid to. My brother is the only one in my family who would have a clue what any of the parts are.

I could provide links, phone numbers. doesn't matter i would end up with parts for something like a '86 lesabre.

Yup. My parents got me a nice Stewart Warner G.U.S.

My fiancee didn't think a clutch was a very romantic Xmas gift (why does it have to be romantic?) so she got me other stuff.

Sounds great. I am glad to hear you are getting them finally. Make sure you take before and after pics. And we will not mind if you are in them

I called my dad the other day and told him I knew what I wanted for xmas. This exchange occured:

"Hey dad, I know what id like yall to get me for xmas."
"What?"
"Tires."
"Damn boy, theres something wrong with you."

Ill order my tires right after xmas.

Yeah, I ask my wife for stuff for my truck (bumpers, add-a-leafs, cam, header, roof rack, etc.) but I never get any of it. I don;t know why I bother. Last year, she bought me the new exhaust for my truck, but only because the old one was rusted and rattled like a bastard at idle. Plus, I was smelling exhaust inside the cabin.

But she made me call and order it, then pretend like I was surprised when it showed up Christmas morning.

She always ends up getting me lame, useful stuff, like clothing.
