Hello, I was wondering if anyone has put Eibach springs on there 2005? And if so, is it hard? or is it like the all the other foci? If anyone can let me know or help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I'm gonna buy some Eibach sportlines soon, yet needed some help/info. etc. Thanks!

Wow. Lotta new peeps today. Cool.

This thread will probably be moved to the Suspension forum, even though your car is equipped with the D20E Duratec.

Welcome to focaljet.

They are the same for all foci. Accept the wagons. I have an 04 with sportlines. I like them. Even with stock shocks they still ride pretty nice, atleast to my taste. some People say they are not the best for handling but I think they handle ok.

An answer to the original question is, they are not hard to put in. I installed the springs in my '05 ZX3 in about an hour. I am lucky because I had a lift to use as well as air tools. But, if you have done suspension before, I don't see it taking any more than 3 hours even with basic hand tools and jack stands. The good part is it is an '05 so taking things apart will be a breeze. If you live in an environment that uses a lot of salt during the winter season, I would recommend using a little anti-seize when putting things back together.

i put the pro system plus on a 2005 st. I used the kit that said for a 2004 zx4. I was told the sway bars wouldn't fit but they fit perfect.

uhh they didnt make an 04 with a zx4 badge that on the 05 its sedan setup what your refering to and there is no reason any 04 or earlier suspention wont for on an 05 the only thing that changed in 05 was sheetmetal and engine avalability in certian models, oh and the se and s lack a rear sway bar the SES and ST(or SES with verve!) have the rear sway and can hence be changed all suspentions work fine I have an FK35/40 off of a 2001 ZX3 and mines an 05 ZX3 so im prety sure they all work

my bad
your right I bought the one that said for a 2004 sedan. I think they told me the rear sway bar wouldn't fit. now I am assumeing the one that(focus central )tried it on may not have had a swaybar from the factory. so it would just be lacking the bushing holders.

kinda new to this internet stuff how do i post a pic.?
also I am running 215/35 zr18 bf goodrich scorchers.
I think it is perfect
