Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

yeah i thought it was a chip.. but i guess if you send your ecu.. yeah you car is down even in stock form..

but still.. its not really worst than having to schedule dyno time at your tuner and having to wait.. do the tuning.. etc..

and is that for regular zetec or SVT ?.. still 200$

anyway.. its like comapring between gude, precision, tom's kit.. yeah there are differnces, yet people still buy the more expensive one so thats why im saying.. its not THAT bad.. im just saying, as soon as peolpe see something cheaper, the automaticly want more frmo every other company. its like sony and Toshiba.. sony will be more expensive but theres a market for both sony or toshiba TVs..

theres always a cheaper or more expensive kit.. people just want everything for nothing.. thats all there is to it..since something is already out that cheaper and works, well then the new to the market will absolutely without question need to have somethnig better and cheaper than whats already available or its no good

Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

I agree if you look at nothing but price and hardware... sure it's not "that" bad.
But IMO (and it's just my opinion), looking at their history and the other options available. It's defiantely the worst of all the complete kits.

Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

yeah it might be expensive.. but what does jackson racing give as a "complete" kit anyway..

we dont know anything about the kit.. no one as tried it so how can we judge.. same for powerworks.. from what i know.. theres only a select few that have it and its not shipped to general public is it? Focussport, i have never heard anything about it either..

yeah it might be expensive but aerocharger was cheaper than tom's kit but tom still came into the market with an expensive kit and still sold it.. even now its the most expensive.. eys it works.. but what do we know about the wolf kit ?

its alright, you have a right to your opinion but what is their history? yeah i can look at hardware and price and its not that bad.. but what else is there to look at really? for now i mean

Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

Come on man.. now your just going into blind defense of this company like you have stock in it or something. I said it was my opinion.

Powerworks is developed in conjunction with Cosworth what else do you need to know?
Jackson racing has been out for how long? I dont care if people knock the black box.. it's PROVEN to work.
FocusSport SC is not out yet so I wouldn't even discuss it.
VORTECH the direct competition for Wolff is better. Less expensive, Better and more efficient intercooler/aftercooler, full tuning solution as well.
It comes with everything and as we saw with slickshoes... a modified tune away from 290whp!

I understand if your a big procharger fan, or if you like Wolff, that's your perogative. But I emailed this company about 20 times last year asking for a price on the tuner kit that they were supposedly already selling. They NEVER got back to me. Their businesses practices are spotty at best, and personally if I were to buy the product I'd expect the same kind of service.

It's cool if you like it, but I dont think it's fair to knock proven products for one that is over a year late to market, is not what it was advertised it was going to be and is priced higher than comparable kits.

Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

Dude I said its fine you have your opinion, I have mine, so whats wrong with that? We dont need to get in a fight about it or anything.. I'm not getting a SC and I don't care if it is lower in quality and more expensive etc.. All I was saying is don't knock on it caus you don't know anything about it just like I don't. Yes we do know that the Vortech is great, works like a charm and that Powerworks is made with Cosworth. But it could be over priced because it is from Cosworth. You tell me that i blindly defend the company yet i really dont care and am not defending there product. And then you go around and knock them.. isn't that the same thing you are accusing me of doing? Its not out. We don't know..

Better can have alot of different meanings.. depending on who is saying it. And since we dont know enough about it, we shouldn't knock on it.. thats what I meant. No saying current solutions aren't as good or even better than the Wolf SC.. caus i dont know..

Anyway lets not get in a fight about this.. all i meant to say is wait for it to be out then make claims when they are thoroughly compared..

Seriously, take it this way.. I DONT like it.. i dont like anything. I'm just saying from a 3rd person viewpoint, my opinion, which is we should wait.

I guess you dont like them caus you had a bad experience.. i dont have any experience with any of em. Its just not anything to get mad about that a kit is more expensive.. no one needs to buy it.

Bolt on and drive seems pretty complete to me. Ive got zero issues with mine.

I guess we should all reserve our judgements untill someone buys the kit and gives us a review.

Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

Procharger gives you JRSC power at Tom's prices!
What kind of number does the Procharger put out? Their site says an increase of 60-65% on an SVT.
Image
And since when does Tom sell a kit for $3500?
Image
where did you get $3500? It's like $5000

And 60% is what you get with a JRSC on a SVT, same as JRSC on a normal Zetec. 60% gains for $5000 and no more potential in the kit without upgrading it really sucks

I think the $3500 is for his stage 1 kit.

Re: Wolff Racing Isn\'t Dead haha

No Scott was saying the Wolff kit is 5K not 3500K as TenTwelve alluded to.

It doesn't matter nobody is going to spend this much money with the vortech as a CARB approved option.
