Didn't they ever tell you not to run without your helmet on?

Is Sebring really that rough? I am thinking of moving there when I get back from Germany. I figured that the track was well kept. When I saw the race the other day the cars looked like they were taking a beating. Espcially the GT Lead Porsche "porposing" all around the track.

Sebring isn't a bad place to visit for a weekend, but I sure wouldn't want to live there.

I escaped the track unscathed this weekend :p

You got that right. Highland County blows.
I had a run-in with the law last time I was at the 12 hours race and got the boot before the race was even over.

From then on, it's been a television event for me.

Really It looks nice from all the web sites I have been looking at. There is the bombing range at Avon Park that I could work at. The housing there looks pretty cheap. Is it a dead community?

I'm heading down there for the SVTOA National track day on April 22-24. They're running the full circuit this year.

Cool.

I never got to do the whole course, but the club course has all the swigglely good stuff. Oh, and you don't get to do the old hairpin anymore.

Fast, fast, fast, brake as hard as you can and throw the car to the right. What fun. What cooked brakes.

LOL sounds like the Hockenhiemring. Nothing greater than hit the peddle and nothing happens.

Yeah, last year my hotel room overlooked the hairpin. We got to watch the World Challenge Cadillacs test all day Thursday. I am a little unsure about the old section though. I does look very bumpy.

Whats the deal with Road Atlanta and the high track day prices? You have to be rich to afford $250 a day track days!

Panoz is great for ProRoadracing in the US, but I think he and Dan have forgotten the little guys. We stopped SOLO I..I mean Time Trialing there because of costs.
Sebring (also Panoz) has been reconfigured several times in the past 10 years, with several surfaces tried. Evans (Royal Purple guy) changed a bunch, but I noticed it was pretty much back to the way it was last time I was there. It wasn't really that bumpy, but remember the orignal surface was concrete with expansion joints all over the place. (airport)

RA is high, but you should check out Barber. And, I've heard he bills the promoter if you tear up his landscaping with an "off".
