Flex pipe exhaust tone difference

I've currently got a stock header and flex pipe with a Borla catback.

With the addition of a 2.25" flex pipe, what will this do to the exhaust sound level and tone?

It may not increase the decibel level very much if no other changes (muffler, resonator, etc.) are made, but the tone should be slightly different if the previous flex pipe was the cork in the system.

The most noticeable change in exhaust tone in my experience was when I swapped a highly-regarded aftermarket head onto a motor...

Sounded like a whole 'nother animal.

In my setup it made mine a little deeper and slightly louder, but I liked it.
