NON-self cancelling directional[turn signal]

Anyone experience a turn signal not cancelling in either direction? I am thinking I need to replace the actual switch......any info would be appreciated!

I found the problem, it is a part in the "clock spring assembly" in the steering column, that broke. You have to buy the whole assembly from the dealer, about 60 bucks.

I agree. I've seen it about 10 times and always a clock spring breaking.

I just super glued mine back together. It's been good for 30,000 miles since. All it costs is time and effort.

i think there was a technical service bulletin for this on model year 2003 and 2004 focus'. is yours one of these? i had this technical service bulletin performed on my 2004...
