I searched but could not find a good enough answer.

I recently picked up a used set of E-Spec Hella Projectors. Unfortunately two of the lenses on the driver's side are cracked. They do not leak but I still want to replace them. Now I looked on the hella site and found replacement part numbers for both Halogen and Xenon applications.

Part Numbers:

68136 --> 90mm Halogen Headlamp DE Module High Beam
68137 --> 90mm Halogen Headlamp DE Module Low Beam

68138 --> 90mm Xenon High Beam
68139 --> 90mm Xenon Low Beam

Now my question is in reference to the Xenon they have listed under that part numbers (68138 & 68139); are these the same as HID's or are these halogen housings with the "Xenon Look Alike" bulbs?

Also are these Xenon ones much more expensive than the Halogen ones?

Xenon is the gas inside an HID bulb capsule, HID is the description of the system (high intensity discharge). So yes, they are the same thing.
The part #s, 68138/68139, are for HIS applications only. You have to have the D2S bulb, ballast, and needed wiring as well as the 90mm module. This can all be purchased together for $450-$550 for each side.

For your E-spec hellas, you need part #1BL 008 193 007. That is for an H7 bulb, which is stock E-spec hella size. YOu can purchase them from:
Puma phone (800) 333-7862
or
email: info@trendparts.de
For the highs, I'm not sure what size bulb it takes, I cant remember right now. But I'm sure Puma could help with that as well.
And for your reference.

RallyLights 90mm Hella page
Pretty much anything you are going to need, you can get from RallyLights.com (I've bought a few things from them, and they have been great to deal with everytime)

(I personally haven't shopped at Puma, but I hear good things about them too)

I replaced mine with a-spec hella lenses because they were half the price. $58.75 for a spec, and $112.85 for the e-spec. I did this just a week ago actually. both of my low beams had cracks in them, so I went with the 65 watt h9's. The new lamps are way brighter than my old ones. The beam pattern is right now too.
Got them from here...

Are there any differences between the a-spec and the e-spec ones beside the bulbs type (H7 vs. H9)? Could you please tell me the difference?

The mounting points are the same, the lenses are the same too. The plugs for the bulbs are different, so you'll have to buy the h9 adapters. I think it was an extra $10 or so.

Also, h9's are sorta hard to come by, compared to h7's. Pep girls and advanced didn't stock them. The guy @ susquehanna motorsports (rally lights .com) said they would become more available soon, due to OE's using them in more applications as of late.

The beam pattern for the e's goes like this\__ \__ where as the a's go opposite: __/ __/. You can change this as you want though. I had my e's like this \__ __/. all you have to do is unscrew it and spin it.

To find H9. I got them from the dealership at 28 $ can each.
