Are they at dealers yet? I haven't seen any runnin' around my area...

It's a little decieving though, since A/C is standard on the 2005 Miata and optional on the 2006. The price difference isn't as large as it appears initially.

The real bummer is that the LSD and sport suspension AREN'T available on the club-spec model. You gotta pay $23k for the sport model and another $500 on top of that to get the decent suspension. I think if you compared that to the current price, you'd find that a comparably equipped 2005 is actually less expensive.

Don't be surprised to see a sport model with all the creature comforts replaced with all those go fast goodies.

If the "buzz" holds true, a new MSM is on the way with either a TC'd piston motor or the RX-8's Renesis.

AC kinda means little to me, even in this awful heat I prefer having my top down to using it, and with the weight savings and benefits to the motor, I'm glad it's an option vs standard.

I'd still take the Solstice over the miata. Now if they put the rotary into the miata, that would be a different story.

Headroom
37.4
Shoulder room
53.2
Leg room
43.1
Hip room
50.6

The Miata is dimensionally larger than the Solstice in every way except headroom (its 1.1 inches less.) People are saying the Miata has a lot of leg room on the drivers side, but the passenger side basically sucks. Headroom could still be an issue for taller people.
