Well i just ordered my Eibach sportline springs today,
I have 17x7 Motegi FF5's on Hankook 205 40 17 i doubt i will have any rubbing issues just want to double check.

And i will be rolling on stock shocks n struts for maybe a month at the most.

Will i be ok?

Check out my set-up...you will be fine... I would recommend getting the eibach dampers too! You will love the set up! The handling is excellent...

Stay tuned,

You will be fine. I'm running sportlines with 17 x 7 Ford racing wheels and a 215 40 ZR17 tire and haven't had a single issue with rubbing.

My only advice to you is not wait too long to change out dampers. The sportlines will kill your stockers in a heartbeat and make for a very unpleasent ride. If you only plan on running for like a month though you should be fine. It took about two months for me to blow out the stock dampers with the sportlines, after that I had to fight the car to keep it on the road after hitting bumps till I got new shocks and struts. But, they were the originals and the car is a 2000 so they may have been worn out already and the springs just finished them off.

dampers were in the area of like $350 or something, I really don't remember the exact price. I had a gift certificate to Summit so I didn't pay too much attention to the price.

As for the alignment, the car was off real bad once I put the springs on but nothing the shop couldn't fix.
I didn't need camber plates or anything, just took it to the shop and they hooked it up. They actually got it pretty darn close to perfect.

You can get a good deal on the dampers just ask around! Tire Rack might be able to give you a good deal! I used the SPC camber kit for the front! I would recommmend getting it. You should be fine in the rear. I installed the camber kit when I installed the springs and dampers... Let know how it goes...ok?

Hope this helps,

My guess is someone has done a how to... the kit also comes with instructions... take care when compressing the springs. If you are not careful, you can really hurt yourself.
Make sure the parts guy tells you how to press the springs. Also make sure that the spring pressers have a locking mechanism...they are a little safer. Take your time and don't skip any steps. If you lived around here I would swing by and walk you through the steps! I have done several trucks and a few cars. Front springs/struts are always are a little tedious. If I see a good How To , I will post it for ya!

Congrats!!! I hope you enjoy them! Your stock dampers may not last long though... you need the pro-dampers too.

The pro-kit dampers will be ordered on the 15th of August latest the 20th ...

another question should i just wait to install till i get the dampers and only have to take it off once?

i had sean hyland motorsport 17 wheel with sportline setup before and it had rubbing issue on the back.

I didn't run into that when I did mine. But I see it's easy to do. Did you get the parts to repair it?
Installing springs and dampers at the same time is easier. However, it's hard to have the springs and not put them on...

Sorry that I missed your post!
