I've been trying to get in touch with them for over a month. I bought their balance shaft delete kit for my mazda3 in May. And being the understanding person that I am I waited for 2 months after the order before my first email asking where my kit was. I knew the kit was subject to backorder, but 8 weeks should be plenty of time to either A: make my kit or B: refund my money. I got no reply to my email. Every time I call I get a machine, and I've never recieved an answer to any email I've ever sent them.

It's now been over three months since I purchased the kit.

I'm hopeing someone on this forum can get intouch with them for me. I really don't understand why a company would risk damage to thier reputation over $40.00.

just call the number on the website, wait for the message, then call the number that they give you in the message

that's what i did and ended up talking with Walter himself for an hour

hope this helps,

What is the number you called. The number I'm calling is 661-209-1517, everytime I've tried it today I get a message saying, "The Nextel number you are dialing is not in service." It really shouldn't be this hard to get a responce from a company.

The MM B.S. kit is still on backorder. I have a number of customers waiting for it as well as the intakes.

If Walter is talking to you on the phone or answering emails, he is not making parts....keep that in mind!

Lots of us are waiting for his parts and he is working very hard to make it all happen. Many have been waiting longer than you have.

Until the Cosworth B.S. kit is available, there is no other kit available.

If you really need to know, he is picking up raw materials today.

I don't expect to be emailed every other day or anything, but a confirmation of the order, and mabey an update email every month or so would be great. You responded after only a day, and I didn't even buy anthing from you(but I'll be sure check out your company in the future). I guess I'll hold off filing a complaint with paypal, and wait a while longer.

Do you have any idea how much longer it will be?

Thanks for your help,

Chris

EDIT--

Walter Marcy just replied to the 2 posts right above this one..WTF is that, he couldn't spare another minute to clear up this issue, that is some [censored] customer service...I guess since I'm not driving a focus he doesn't need my buisness. I'm tired of dealing with this [censored] over a $40 purchase. I'm filing a complaint with paypal, and with his local better business Bureau.

Tony d,

When you get a Cosworth BS delete kit in stock send me an email, and I'll buy from you. I'll glady pay a few more dollars for good customer service.

It's a real shame that some of Walter's customers end up feeling the way you do- when I see plain as day an easy solution for Walter to deal with the situation.

Walter, if you read this, I mean no disrespect, but if you took one hour every other week to post a comprehensive update (regarding the status of all products on back order, and other relevant production schedules)either here on [FJ] or on your own website, then maybe you'd spend less time getting all the "where the hell is my CAI?" phone calls.

People are willing to wait for you IF you keep them informed. Posting here or on your website regularly is an excellent & efficient way to do that. Ricer prevention is worth a Marcy short-block of cure ya know?

Exactly.

It's not like $40.00 is a big deal. The simple fact is that I ordered something, he recieved payment, and I recieved nothing. I can order an $8.00 pizza online and in 2 minutes I have an email and a phone call verifying my order. Something as simple as an order confirmation(so I knew he had my order or record), and a product status page with an ETA for his backorderd parts would have been perfectly acceptable.

But it's over and done with now. I can't even file a complaint with paypal because it's been over 45 days since I ordered. And he's not a member of his local BBB(but he does have some complaints), so I guess that doesn't help either.

I do feel the same pains (see sig). But at the same time I realize that he is a busy guy and making quality parts for us takes up alot of his time. Sometimes suppliers do not follow through and he gets backlogged...
