I recently installed my f2 intake and now the check engine light comes on. As far as I an see there seems to be no problems, but... any ideas? is this normal? Any answers would be nice
Did you disconnect the battery when you hooked it up??? That could be one problem. Also make sure all the connections are tight.ok I cleared the battery and it went away, but my guess is that it will come back so please give me any ideas. thanks
This will only be a problem if he removed the MAF restrictor. It should be left inside the intake, unless you have the ability to tune the engine. There could be problems if the intake tube diameter is different where the MAF is than the stock one was, I know on Mazda 3's they had that problem with the first ones came out.
