this is the weekly "Who's gonna be there" post. And what the hell did everyone do all weekend??? I came back from L.A. and nobody posted anything.

I'll be there around 7pm.

I should be there

if I get my car back. I dropped off the focus tonight to get looked in the morning cause I don't think it woulda made it down to work and back, it started making the most awful noises besides the possible belt rubbing, kinda like someone threw a metal stud into the engine somewhere

Hopefully it's not too serious...This weekend I went paintballing @ Camp Pendleton and am now addicted to hitting people w/ high powered paint projectiles

I'm planning on setting up a group paintball event in the next couple of weeks or so...I'll keep everyone posted. Other than that nothing more to report...Signing off

Hey Preston...I dont think that I have ever heard an engine noise that sounded like a metal stud being thrown into the engine, and it not be serious.

but good luck

John was up here all weekend, and now he's back at home.... LOL

Hung out, moved the living room around and set up the fauXmas tree. Hope everyone's holiday went well. I installed the chip this Saturday. Now all that's left is the sways

I'll try to make Tuesday, I might have a happyhour to go to for my co-worker. If not I'll be there at 7:00-7:30. Oh as for this past weekend, yeah, FJ was dead zzzzzzzzz. I was at family functions all weekend and Sunday I got an extra pound of free...ish boost. Nothing to prove it but the car is noticeibly faster. Had a 96ish Eclipse GS-T trying to give me guff, he couldn't even catch up

Its in Mira Mesa. Its a burger place...we hang out in tuesdays in the parking lot.

I dunno if I can make it

Didn't get the focus back and it looks like it was the timing belt & tensioner pulley + the water pump. Weird

I do all maintenance as required oh well...I should have it back tomorrow. If so I'll see you all there

Reza-a definite on what we talked about earlier.

it could have just been your tensioner that went bad and made the belt too tight...causing the other two to go bad.

True, but I figure I'll just knock it all out and then I'll be good for another 60k miles or so. Or at least until something else goes wrong

are there any get togethers a little further north. say in orange or riverside countys? wish i could make it out there but that is a long ways for me.

Here's a thread about a monthly G2G in Anaheim, or Fullerton, depending on teh map (same place) at Sonic Burger.

91 FWY 3 miles east of the 5, exit Lemon St., head north 2 blks. It's on the right, at Orangethorpe.
