Amen brother! that was an awesome run. i can't wait until next year. i have a question though. where and when is focus on the beach. met some people who've been there and they said it's a blast.

couldn't attend due to final paper... which i still haven't gotten finished. I'm screwed.. I should have just said fsck it and just have gone.

I don't have pics. Ashley took some, maybe I can get her to email them to me. I had a blast. Like I said in the other post, most everybody acted like adults. Hopefully Jeremiah will teach his girl how to back up a car. I thought she was going to back into mine. Too bad we got stuck behind traffic on the entire ride after the observatory.

I think I saw one person spin out, and the RX-8 had some bumper damage on the passenger side. I am assuming he hit one of the small logs/large branches that were laying in the road.Mrs. Blue-73 said:

I don't remember any spin-outs, but yes, an RX-8 that was on the cruise ran off from the group at one point, and the next time we saw him he had run his front bumper into the cliff wall. The incident was isolated from the group and so I can only go off of what he said, which was that a truck was taking up too much of the road and ran him off.
What really happened, we will never know, but the fact remains that he was driving wreckless when he took off from the group, and had he stayed with the group at the pace we had, perhaps he wouldn't have a cracked front bumper.

This probably have a lot to do with the fact that you were in the front. I believe it was an older acura/honda that pulled halfway off the road to let the second half of the group pass. The very next turn, I saw a focus pointing the wrong direction. Possibly the black '05???thefrush said:

The black 05 was the car right behind us, and I was watching the mirror quite a bit. I do remember him getting a bit sideways on a turn that was covered in sand. Wasn't anything major though.
