Don't know what this is. It seems the passenger front side creaks on low frequency bumps. Is it a bent strut?
Urethane is more likely to fail than rubber in my experience, especially with quite a few miles on it.ZX3ST said:I don't think it's bushings. All the bushings are urethane.
with regular grease? synthetic grease? I had to use grease on my poly bushings... I was a little concerned. I heard that grease ruins poly bushings...DisrupTer911 said:and urethane bushings go squeeky squeeky. grease them?
But they really don't "squeak". I don't hear a thing over small, high frequency oscillations. It kinds of "groans" over slow, sweeping oscillations, such as cresting a hill quickly and settling down. And it appears to only be coming from the passenger side front. On top of all that, the car seems to oscillate too much given the stiff struts that are fitted.DisrupTer911 said:and urethane bushings go squeeky squeeky. grease them?
