torque for valve cover

Anybody know if you have to torque the valve cover and what is the specs on it??

thats seems a bit much. When I took of the valve cover the bolts was really easy to break loose.. Almost felt like I coud turn by hand to loosen

80 in-lbs isn't much at all. That's 6.6 ft/lbs.

With a worn valve-cover gasket, they loosen to even less.

yea I just now got time to change over to my polished valve cover and didnt think to ask this before

dont go crazy on them, those bolts will snap off in the cylinder head with no questions asked, ive become a pro at removing them, ive snapped a total of 6 now.

screwdrivers and needlenose, and about half an hour of work you dont want to have to do.

Jeez. lay of the roids!!

I like to use a 1/4" ratchet and tighten it using the head of the ratchet so I can't over do it.

they get weaker the more you have to take the damn thing off to tighten pesky rockers...... eheheheh

stuff it giggle, and find me a how to for an atx to mtx conversion rofl.
