Do all of the EAPs have the Audiophile system by default? I've searched the web and noticed a lot of the EAPs have them, but a lot of them don't mention it, which doesn't neccessarily mean that they don't have it. Any help?

I'm planning on putting something nicer in it, but I was just wondering. So all of the EAPs have the cold weather package also?

Well I've seen a few of them without HIDs. Because (at least according to ford) ALL Comp Orange, and ALL Screaming Yellow, are EAP. And i've seen more than one with at least no HIDs.

Those folks probably switched them out, which is beyone me...

Yeah those people need there head examined! I been wanting a pair of HID for some time now. However I am too cheap to pay the prices that they want for them!

Yea...400 plus for a used pair....900 for new...that is not happening for me anytime soon.

Definitely save your dough, and splurge on them ASAP. Despite the high $, they are worth every penny, and not just from an aesthetic standpoint. Very bright, very safe. My friends always say it's like driving during the day when they're on.

what is your thought about aftermarket projectors....good light cut off, and you can buy bright bulbs to mimic the HID....defenitely only a quarter the cost of HID

02 SVT Focus, i'd say if you were looking to save some money, go for it, just make sure you get the right bulbs. Try this link (if you havent allready)

Ok, I didnt want to start a new thread, since this is pretty close to what I have a question about as well. I have an 03 Audiophile SVTF (No heated seats, engine block warmer, or traction control), I would like to put some heated seats in my car, but I was wondering if I have to do more than get the seats, and the piece of the center console with the buttons. Is it all just a matter of plug and play (are all of the wires/connectors allready there, or is it more complex than that?) Thanks for your help in advance.

The wires are all plug play for the most part. You can buy just the heating units and add them to your seats. However it is really expensive! I would check around in your area and find a place that does custom interior work and they might be able to do it for you or tell you were to go to have it done.

thanks for the hep hommie, hoever, i just realized I wasnt 100% clear in my post. What I meant by adding heated seats was, can I get the stock heated seats FOR an SVTF with that option, and just put them in my car? I've seen people selling their heated seats for the winter package SVTF, and thought about buying them, but i just want to make sure everything will just work basicly from the door, or if there is any additional wires/harnesses i would need. Hopefully that cleared things up. Sorry I was 100% clear in my first post.

Well if you get the seats that all ready have the heating element in them then all you have to do is buy the wiring harness and switch. Which at that point will be all plug and play type system.

Thanks again hommie! Im sure there is at least one other person out there with the same question. I just cant stand getting in a cold car in the mornings, then going to work at the Ford Dealership, then getting in to a car that has heated seats....it just makes me want heated seats that much more! Once again, Thank you Hommie.

You are welcome! I know how you feel. My wife has heated seats in her Escape and then I get in my car when is cold and I am looking for the button to turn them on!! Some times it sucks, but I guess I am getting use to it!

If there is one thing I hate to think about with getting rid of my FSVT it's the HIDs. They are simply out of this world. I looooooove watching the cutoff bounce around on dark roads when the car hits bumps.

The only reason to switch out HIDs is you either had them stolen and can't afford the replacement or you crashed your car and couldn't afford the replacement. Any other reason and, as somebody said on this board before, you're Corky.
