I think the big red reflectors are what make them legal, the reason why the standard Euro red/amber lenses aren't on our cars in the first place. So what did I do? Put them in anyway. The red/red/one color for brakes, park, turn indicator have to go. That's something that belongs in a pickup or some mainstream yank tank......

I'd pick the black focus over the winged demon. Doesn't mean I think those tails are the best.....but, they aren't bad either. Just my two cents......

I like it man, how hard was the install on those?

They Are OK As In OVER-KILL. Too Much Look To Match The Rest Of The Car.

they came with a connector but it didn't match the cars so I spliced them. Other than that it's one plastic wing nut. and yes they do blink in regular speed cause they have a transformer that makes them the same resistance as stock bulbs. Took me no more than 30min splicing and all

Well don't have the cash to do it all at once... but RS bod is soon to come... oh yeah and a transformer wing... you know just to piss off ricers going for a "mines bigger" contest.... oh and yes before any of this body stuff comes into play, She's getting a humming BJ from a T-3:thumbup: / and for the rest the comments... I'm going for a very dark car. (like my fiero I can only find in the day light) so no red but would be pimp on a red car!. and now that you guys got me thinking maybe I could tint these just a tad more, might even help hide those huge red reflectors

Yeah I'm likin these more and more since I've installed them.. But I do think I'm gonna darken them up just a tad. What do you guys think would be better to put tint on them or spray:dunno: ? P.S. you can still get them but they're gettin pretty rare

yeh i kno, but im just saying its cloudy if there are still being produced.

...my suggestion? go with Laminex, won't ruin your tails, always can remove it...and will add uber protection to weather/sun damage. The smoke is the lighter of the two, which will turn them into a dark-smoky color (and red when lit) and allow most of the light to come through.

the charcoal are straight black (if you want that) and will allow again, a lot of light come through when on since they are LEDs however no sunlight

im actually waiting till i get some money in order to get me a set of REDs...have laminex already waiting:evilgrin:

if that be the one from ford racing that attaches above and below the hatch glass with a massive bracket... then yes booyah-ka-shaa wikid and what not

The fact that these are not 100% LED is the reason I passed them up. Until someone makes a 100% LED tailamp I will not even think about it.
