I'm from the land of Tequila. ever had warm Tequila in a Bull's horn? this will knock you out.

I've wanted to go to Tecate but since I have kids, I tend to go to places where they will have fun like Rosarito for the Horseback riding and beach.

I can't blame you for just passing thru...if Flea lives there I will make oa point of avoiding Tecate myself.
I have a tendancy to avoid most of Mexico. I was talking to a Fed border patrol agent friend of mine a while ago. He mentioned that I would be screwed when I tried to cross back into the States. "You're a young looking, scrawny white dude with Weezer glasses in a new Hatchback with dark tinted windows...If you so much as BLINK wrong you'll be in Secondary for 5 hours naked." In a roundabout way he was saying I look very much out of place in Mexico.

I have been to Mexicali though and had a lot of fun.

Anyway...the wagon...I though it looked pretty cool dumped like that. If you did the front the same height it would look hawt! (Unfortunately driving it ANYWHERE would be out of the question)

Mexico is what you make of it. most of the horror stories are by Unrulu teens that head down to TJ and get piss poor drunk believing they are above the law and do things they would normally NOT do in the States.

The crossing back is a Lottery, sometimes you get lucky and don't get hassled and others can just get very frustrating.

Ihve gone with a few Jetters and had 0 problems, in fact one of them continues to go without even inviting me. I would say who but don't want to offend Synrg.

You know, people are very much affraid of wht they "think" they know happens in Mexico, it's really not even like that, well, atleast not here... Tecate is a very small town, every one is friendly. There isn't really much to do here, it,s actually boring. We have no night clubs, or any good bars to drink at. By around 9:30 or 10:00 at night, not one soul is out in the street (weekdays). Getting across the border is a snap, all they ask you for is an ID and "what are you bringing back from Mexico today, sir?" if you do get sent to secondary inspection, it's for about 10 minutes while they check under and in your car for drugs, bombs, people that aren't supposed to be there, dead bodys, fruits, vegetables and other stuff like that. They don't strip you down to your undies and search you like a criminal unless you give them a really good reason to. Besides, American Citizens can sue the heck out of them for doing that. Well... any ways. It's not as bad as people think or say it is.

I was pondering with this idea of having a large BBQ at my place (since i live and work at a campground) for my b-day. Also to have you guys stay over night in cabins or tent camping... but since it is down here, i wonder is any one would even bother to come. I would be willing to have every one meet some where in el cajon and caravan down here, same wise going back.

Throw it on a Friday or Saturday and this way I can head down to San felipe with the family in tow(or trunk)
Yeah, it'll be on a saturday... and don't worry Mextep, if you hve trouble getting back across the border, i'll volunteer to hide you in the back of my wagon, there's plenty of spaaaace! Just remember, if we get caught... i don't know you and you don't know me!

Me: "I swear Mr. Officer Sir... i don't know who this ****** is..."

Immigration Officer: "Does it look like i give a S**T??? Besides, you all look the same"
